Kiowa chairman defeated in election

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 2002

Voters of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma replaced chairman Billy Evans Horse with Clifford McKenzie in a Saturday election.

Horse was trying to approve a casino deal with MultiMedia Games Inc. of Florida. Last year, he and his associates were accused of taking $150,000 from the company.
