Minn. tribes oppose education decision

FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2002

Minnesota's 11 tribes are opposing a decision to close two state Indian education offices.

Offices in Bemidji and Duluth are set to close later this month due to budget cuts. The tribes want state education Commissioner Christine Jax to rescind the decision.
