Red Lake Nation incumbent defeated
THURSDAY, JULY 18, 2002 Red Lake Nation chairman Bobby Whitefeather's bid for re-election was defeated by voters of the Minnesota tribe. Gerald "Butch" Brun received 1,785 to Whitefeather's 1,323. Brun was previously chairman after defeating the late Roger Jourdain in 1990. Get the Story:
