Mi'kmaq First Nation inks fishing deal
FRIDAY, AUGUST 2, 2002 The Burnt Church First Nation of New Brunswick has finalized a fishing agreement with the Canadian government. The two-year, $20 million deal provides 21 commercial lobster licenses for a spring fishery. It also regulates a traditional, fall subsistence catch. Get the Story:
