Pequot museum celebrates fourth year

MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 2002

The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center in Connecticut has seen 1 million visitors pass through its doors since it opened four years ago.

Owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the 308,000-square-foot facility is considered to be among the best of its kind. Pequot history is featured prominently but the museum also hosts exhibits on other tribes.
