Native corps benefit from cleanup
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2002 Alaska Native corporations have taken a lead role in cleaning up the "environmental mess" left by the federal government on the Pribilof Islands. The islands are polluted with fuel oil, debris, oil barrels and other junk. The price tag for cleanup is $100 billion.
