Apache mother, children to be buried

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2002

Funeral services are being planned for a New Mexico woman who police say drowned herself and her two children at a river this week.

Bernadine Flores was a member of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. She was reportedly distraught over concerns of abuse against her two-year-old daughter.
