Urban Navajos can vote off-reservation

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2002

The Navajo Nation will have an off-reservation polling site in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for the upcoming November 5 election.

Urban tribal members, or those who don't want to drive back to the reservation, can vote at the National Indian Youth Council. Tribal election officials will oversee the polling.
