Murkowski mum on Senate replacement

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2002

Senator Frank Murkowski (R), newly elected governor of Alaska, isn't talking about who will replace him in Congress.

Thanks to a new state law, the decision is Murkowski's alone. He has to act within five days of being sworn in.
