Pine Ridge primary results in dispute

Results of a primary election on the Pine Ridge Reservation are in limbo because an election board said it can't guarantee the accuracy of a recount.

Two council candidates requested a recount due to extremely close results. But the Oglala Sioux Tribe Election Board said it can't guarantee the ballots because the ballot boxes were left unsecured, The Rapid City Journal said.
