Guilty plea in bribery with tribes case
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2002 A member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma reversed his earlier not guilty plea of federal bribery charges. Phillip Charles Bread was working for the state Commerce Department as a tribal assistance director. Federal authorities say he accepted $6,250 in consulting fees for work he was being paid to do.
