Dog joins Alaska village police force

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2002

The police department in a small Alaska village has added a drug-sniffing dog to its force.

The dog was brought to Fort Yukon because of the drug trade that occurs among remote villages. Fort Yukon is as a hub city for airline flights to the village.
