TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2003
Six people arrested for protesting a Columbus Day parade in Denver, Colorado, want to be tried by a jury instead of accepting a deal with city prosecutors.
The parade is held by descendants of Italian-Americans. Counter demonstrations have been organized by Native Americans and other activists.
