License exemption for Native healers sought

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2003

A North Dakota lawmaker has introduced a bill to allow traditional Native healers to practice massage without a license.

The license requirement imposes training on healers. Other groups are currently exempt, including student athlete massages, student trainers and spa treatments.
