Young Indians still feel the pull of the rez

MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2003

Leonisa Lewis is one of three Indian girls on her high school tennis team but that's not the only reason she may stand out from her peers.

Lewis left her home on the Tohono O'odham Reservation in Arizona to go to school in Tucson. She doesn't talk about going off to college or making it big, instead her dreams focus on what she can do to help her family and go back to the reservation.
