Critics say casino will expand Indian gaming
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 2003 Critics of a proposed casino/entertainment district in Montana say it will open up expanded gaming on the state's reservations. Backers of the Butte project want to open up to 10 casinos. They have offered tribes the opportunity to co-operate at least one. But if a bill passes to authorize the casinos, the tribes would be able to offer similar gaming. That has critics opposing the measure. Get the Story:
