S.D. university holds Indian awareness week

TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 2003

The Black Hills State University in South Dakota is holding its Indian awareness week.

This year's theme is "Celebrating American Indian Storytellers." Events include a speech from Olympic gold medalist Billy Mills, storytelling, musical performances and a run/walk. The week culminates with a pow-wow on Friday through Sunday.
