Red Lake Nation chairman dies after short illness
MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2003 Gerald F. "Butch" Brun, the chairman of the Red Lake Nation of Minnesota, died Saturday after a short illness. He was 64. Brun was elected last July. Two days later, he suffered what the tribe said was a mild stroke from which he later recovered. The cause of his death was not immediately reported. Get the Story:
