Ore. tribe sues dead man to clear land title
WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2003 The Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe of Oregon is suing a dead man in order to clear title to land slated for development. The tribe sued Aaron Rose because he was the last known owner of the 100-square-foot tract. Rose founded the city of Roseburg in 1851. Get the Story:
