Federal agents raid tribal tobacco shops
WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2003 The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided three tobacco shops licensed by the Puyallup Tribe of Washington, The Seattle Times reports. The agents, with the help of state investigators, seized some boxes of cigarettes. Three stores, in Washington and Idaho, were targeted after search warrants were issued by a federal judge.
