Teens bought cigarettes from Indian businesses

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18, 2003

Two New York teens were able to buy cigarettes online from Indian-owned businesses, state lawmakers said.

The state is starting to enforce a ban on Internet cigarette sales. The state says Indian businesses must charge taxes to non-Indian customers.
