Obituary: Hasse, non-Indian tribal advocate

Funeral services are scheduled Saturday for Arlo Hasse, a non-Indian who advocated for the rights of the Dakota people in Minnesota.

Hasse died Tuesday of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 75. The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community considered him a close and honored friend, and lowered its flags for him.
