Mont. tribal officers cross-deputized in county
WEDNESDAY, JULY 2, 2003 The Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes on the Fort Peck Reservation have extended their cross-deputization agreement. Tribal police officers can now arrest non-Indians in Valley County, on the west end of the reservation. The agreement was amended last week by the tribal council. Get the Story:
