Navajo chapter government missing $39,000
THURSDAY, JULY 3, 2003 An accountant for the Navajo Nation has gone missing, along with $39,000 in tribal dollars intended for a chapter government, The Farmington Daily Times reports. The accountant was to go to the Aneth Chapter. Instead, it went to a private bank account in Denver. The accountant, identified as Alfred Slowman, worked for the Navajo Nation in Window Rock, Arizona. Get the Story:
