Ore. says no to tribe's stadium for casino offer
THURSDAY, MARCH 13, 2003 Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski won't negotiate a new baseball stadium for an off-reservation casino. The Confederated Grand Ronde Tribes offered to pay for the full cost of a $350 million stadium. Kulongoski said the state wasn't ready to consider the casino. Get the Story:
