Prairie Island teenagers exhibit photography

TUESDAY, JUNE 17, 2003

Eight teens from the Prairie Island Indian Community in Minnesota will show their own original photography and other items at a new exhibit.

The teens are part of Can-ku, a photography program for Indian youth. They took photos of life on the reservation and collected historic photos and artifacts.

The exhibit will be on display today through Sunday at the tribe's community center. From there it will move to the Goodhue County Historical Society from June 26 to August 26.
