School trains nurses
JULY 3, 2000 The Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma has a Native American enrollment of 53 percent. It also trains about 8 percent of all Native American nurses in the country and 53 percent of those in Oklahoma. Norman Madsen, the college's president since last October, has taken steps to increase enrollment and private donations. Members of the Creek Nation donate to the school. Get the Story:
