N.M. students celebrate Native week

FRIDAY, APRIL 26, 2002

Students at Ruth N. Bond Elementary School in Kirtland, New Mexico, celebrated Native American history and culture this week.

The students were treated to demonstrations, stories, arts and crafts and a pow-wow. The school has mostly Navajo students but also some from other tribes.
