NEW BRUNSWICK:
A group of 28 environmental, social and aboriginal organizations is asking the federal government to cooperate with the Burnt Church First Nation. The group wants the DFO to recognize the Mi'kmaq band's fishery program.

The Listigouche First Nation will hold elections once again for its tribal council. 20 who voted in last year's election were not eligible so the the Department of Indian Affairs has called for a new election. Chief Allison Metallic says its been difficult to get any work done because of politics within the council.

NUNAVUT:
The Department of Indian and Northern Development in Ottawa wants the Nunavut Nation to pay back almost $1 million in funds they say the nation should have never received.

SASKATCHEWAN:
Three men who were fired from the Lac La Ronge Band Council for using traditional methods of dispute resolution will be rehired. A federal court ruled in favor of the men and ordered the band to be reinstated with back pay.
