Bush unveils elder plan
SEPTEMBER 5, 2000 Presidential candidate George W. Bush is proposing a $158 billion plan to strengthen Medicare, help senior citizens pay for all or part of of Medicare premiums, and subsidize prescription drug costs for the elderly.
