Conference tackles Native health
MONDAY, APRIL 8, 2002 The third annual Montana-Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council health conference began in Billings, Montana, on Sunday. Diabetes, obesity, alcoholism and drug abuse are among the issues being discussed at the four-day event. Life expectancy for Native Americans in Montana and Wyoming is nearly a decade lower than the rest of the country, according the Indian Health Service. Get the Story:
