Mexican justice handled by elders
FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2002 Justice in rural Mexico can be harsh, as reported by The Washington Post, which recounts the story of how a Mixtec Indian community buried a man alive as retribution for the killing of another. According to the report, a group of elders decided the sentence for the man.
