McVeigh to push execution appeal
JUNE 7, 2001 Lawyers for convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh on Wednesday said they will continue to fight for a delay in his scheduled execution, seeking Supreme Court review if necessary. The defense team said they were disappointed with a federal judge's decision not to grant McVeigh a stay. He is set to be executed on June 11, should his appeals fail. Get the Story:
