Tribes may get seat in legislature
OCTOBER 12, 2000 A new bill would give each tribe in Wisconsin a non-voting seat in both houses of the state's legislature. There are 11 tribes in the state. The only other state to have tribal, non-voting delegates is Maine, who has had them since 1820. Get the Story:
