Accident involves Mayan workers
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13, 2002 Several Mayan workers from Mexico were injured and one died when a van they were traveling in crashed in Colorado. All were from the state of Chiapas in southern Mexico, according to a Mexican official. The men speak a Mayan language with little Spanish skills. The driver of the van fled the scene.
