Gaming expansion bill killed in Wash.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2002 A bill to allow video gaming machines at non-tribal casinos were killed by a legislative committee in Washington state on Thursday. Tribes had testified before the Senate panel to oppose the bill. The bill had been proposed by non-tribal casino operators to offset another one that would have taxed their revenues.
