Blood quantum standards due

TUESDAY, AUGUST 7, 2001

The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be holding a consultation meeting over recently proposed regulations for Certifications of Degree of Indian Blood tomorrow at a meeting in Oklahoma.

The BIA proposed the regulations last year to considerable protest. After postponing action, the BIA is going to hold a series of public meetings on them.
