Election is most expensive

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, this year's election cycle is the most expensive in history.

The organization says $3 billion has been spent on the Presidential and federal elections. An additional $1 million has been spent on state elections.

Actress Jane Fonda was a heavy individual giver, donating $12 million to an abortion rights group.
