Wyo. governor pledges work with tribes
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2001 Acting on suggestions from tribal leaders, Wyoming Gov. Jim Geringer says he would work towards setting up a formal relationship between the executive branch and tribes. Geringer is still considering the issue, he said. A liaison or a commission could be set up to work with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and the Northern Arapaho Nation.
