Nez Perce pow-wow draws thousands
MONDAY, JULY 30, 2001 An estimated 30,000 turned out this past weekend for Julyamsh, the annual pow-wow of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho. Like other pow-wow, the event drew dancers and participants from throughout Indian Country. Some $90,000 in prize money was awarded. Get the Story:
