Inmates work with wild horses

Minimum security inmates at the Four Mile Correctional Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, are learning horse management skills in a partnership with the Bureau of Land Management.

Since 1986, more than 2,000 wild horses have been brought from federal lands in Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado to the state prison.

In a related story, the BLM is having its annual wild horse adoption auction this Saturday and Sunday in Boise, Idaho. The minimum bid is $125.
