Editorial: Trust fund bill needs a good finish
Thursday, July 31, 2003

A trust reform bill introduced in Congress needs a "good finish" -- an historical accounting -- The Sioux Falls Argus Leader says in an editorial.

The paper says the bill talks about the future. But the past also needs to be addressed, the paper says.

"No one denies much of the money is missing, or at least unaccounted for," the paper says. "No one denies the Interior Department has delayed, hidden information and outright lied to the judge in the [Cobell] case."
