N.M. pow-wow and arts show off to big start

The Inter-Tribal Ceremonial pow-wow and arts show in Gallup, New Mexico, takes place this weekend.

Preview night for the ceremonial was held Wednesday night. According to The Gallup Independent, $2.5 million worth of items up for sale. Best in Show went to Raymond C. Yazzie for a $75,000 gold, multi-stoned bracelet.

Inupiaq/Cree actress Irene Bedard, of "Smoke Signals" fame, will take part in Saturday's parade.

The ceremonial queen will be named Saturday evening.
