Mohegan Tribe sues hotel architect for $3.6M
Wednesday, August 13, 2003

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is suing the architect of its hotel for $3.6 million, The New London Day reports.

The tribe's gaming authority is accusing New York City-based Kohn Pedersen Fox and its subcontractor of indemnification, breach of contract and negligence. The tribe says it incurred substantial costs in building the hotel because the firm's original design was inadequate and had to be redone.

The case is being heard in a state court.
