Navajo horse owners respond to West Nile campaign

Horse owners on the Navajo Nation are getting their animals vaccinated for the West Nile virus.

The tribe allocated $131,400 with the goal of vaccinating 5,000 horses. There have been two confirmed cases of the virus on the reservation.

The virus is fatal when found in horses.
