Pueblo hopes for boost with low-rider show, concert
Friday, August 29, 2003

Nambe Pueblo in New Mexico is hosting its first low-rider show and competition on Sunday.

Nambe Gov. Tom Talache hopes the show and a hip-hop concert will boost the reservation economy, which has suffered from summer fires. A 7,000-acre fire in a nearby wilderness area has affected the tribe's lake, a tourist attraction.
