White Mountain Apache tribal members return home
Monday, July 21, 2003

The 5,000 residents of the Fort Apache Reservation in Arizona who were forced to evacuate due to fire returned home over the weekend.

The Kinishba Fire has burned 22,500 acres but it was contained 65 percent as of Sunday night. Crews have been helped by thunderstorms.

The reservation is home to the White Mountain Apache Tribe.
