S.D. man gets 27 years for methamphetamine distribution

A South Dakota man was sentenced to 27 years in prison for intending to distribute methamphetamine on reservations in the state.

Shane Avery, 33, brought drugs to reservations from out of state. He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
