Tuesday, September 16, 2003

Ten of the firms on Washington Technology's top 25 list of minority firms that do business with the federal government are American Indian or Alaska Native owned.

Six are Alaska Native corporations, two are tribally-owned and two are owned by individual Indians. Last year, only four made the list.

The top ranked Indian company was Choctaw Management Services Enterprise, owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma with $47.7 million in information technology revenue and $40.8 million in minority government contracts.
