A man claiming to be a descendant of the historic Wangunk tribe filed suit over 300 acres of land in Connecticut.

Van Thomas Green also wants $10 million in damages, state and federal recognition of the Wangunks and a settlement trust fund. He claims land now owned by Wesleyan University and others was wrongfully taken from the tribe.
